We bought this bedspread to put on over our guest bed comforter to protect it from furry guests that might snag on the comforter. It is VERY thin, so its durability will be put to the test. I would be surprised if it adds any warmth to the bed, though the color is very appealing. It is a nice accent blanket or coverlet.
